In the middle of planning our kitchen remodel, our GS suggested pop-up outlets for our island, He explained that it was actually a code violation to mount outlets on the side of the island. I saw the Modern Solutions outlet and had 2 of them installed. We love the convenience or being able to hide the outlet when not in use and the wireless charger built into the top.
I thought 8 would be smoother when move it up-and-down.
When opening three or more times with in ten minutes motor keeps running with no stop, had to unplugged to reset, happened to all three units. Opened to show to customer. They are concerned.

Nice simple design. Easy to use at a great price
Installation was a little tricky but finish is impressive. Especially with its stone cutout in the top that seamlessly blends into the kitchen island bench. Used it for the first time the other day. Very convenient.
I'm rating 5 star because I have received really good service from this company. They are quick to respond and always willing to help.
Regarding the pop up outlet…for the most part…it’s also 5 star. Just a couple nuances that we have encountered. Sometimes when 2 cords are plugged in, if you go to unplug one of them…it sets the unit off and it tries to close back into the housing. It then hits the cord of the second item still plugged in and it causes it to jam. A little chaotic for a split second. Also, the trim ring is not tall enough for standard 2cm or 3cm countertops. It sits in the black mounting flange and will not allow you to adjust it higher…so we have had to purchase additional separate trim rings and place them on top of the current trim ring and multi-tool off the overage that sticks above the countertop. I am hoping they actually make 2 rings that will accommodate both 2cm and 3cm to not have this issue. It ultimately would be cleaner and easier for assembly.

Regarding the trim ring height: my understanding is that it doesn’t need to sit in the bottom flange. It only needs to align with the top surface of your countertop. Even if your benchtop were 10 cm thick, the trim ring would still be sufficient, as it only needs to be positioned at the top - it doesn’t need to extend all the way through. Does that make sense?

Not actually fitted it yet but it's exactly what I wanted in terms of size/looks. My main thing was having enough plugs and USB's for my new kitchen island and not looking out of place with a marble effect quartz

We needed a solution for the new requirements of no outlets in the side of the island. Our Electrician suggested this Device. It has worked Awesome!!! It looks good in the island countertop and is very functional! It has two 110vac plugs and two USB C charging connections, The countertop installers did a good job cutting the hole in the countertop and providing the plug. The holding bracket is epoxied to the underside of the cabinet ( during this time we supported it with a wood block) The outlet has a fixed cord so we installed an outlet in the bottom of the cabinet it was installed in so it was an easy plug and play installation. The Outlet is very sturdy!! Also if you accidentally activate the lowering of the outlet with a cord plugged in it will stop and go back up! ( ask me how I know!) It takes very little pressure to operate, it's a light press up or down. We are so happy with this installation and its use! We highly recommend this pop up outlet!!!

Item came professionally boxed lots of foam packing to keep it safe. Taking it out of the box it was well made but the best thing it was plug and play. The hardest bit was boring a 65mm hole in the bench top electrician installed a power point in the cupboard under the bench and it looks great the auto up and down is very smooth and operates as it should.
Nice looking product,Replaced an exiting different brand but fit perfectly.
Great value for money. Provides a discrete power point in our kitchen bench making working in the kitchen much easier and more efficient.
