I was looking for a pop-up outlet for my kitchen island. Nowhere on the website does it state that it's not for damp spaces; however, it has several photos of this product mounted next to a sink. this product will not pass inspection. To return, they expect me to pay for return shipping, plus a restocking fee. the description and associated photos are deceptive

I ordered the wrong unit firstly but so far my returning the unit and having replaced it with the correct alternative is working out well. The person I am dealing with is very efficient and helpful.
I recently purchased 2 Quad-Sided Pop Up Outlets for our kitchen remodel and couldn't be more pleased with how fast they were shipped to me. They help keep my counters clutter free but still provide access to charging devices when I need to.

The wireless charging doesn’t work well
The whole process has been excellent from start to finish, ordering was easy with the delivery earlier than first quoted.
Installation was a doddle, if you ( or your tradesperson ) can use a hole cutter then it is fitted in minutes and all sockets worked as expected.
I had 1 query which I emailed the support team and had a reply with a day, excellent service, thank you.
I would recommend the V3C pop up unit anyone wishing to add functionality to their kitchen.

MP Solutions have been easy to deal with but I am not a fan of this product. There is a noisy cooling fan for the wireless charging pad that I am not pleased with. I raised the issue with the company believing the first unit to be faulty as my phone would charge for 5 mins and the fan would be on for a disproportionate amount of time. A replacement unit was sent without issue for which I am grateful. The fan is on less than the first unit but still a lot and still very audible. Apparently this is how the units are.
Not one previous review mentions this so just be aware of this if you intend to install this item.
Other than that I am happy to have power in a large kitchen area where previously there was none.
Hi Bigdeer - thank you for the kind words about our service, and I’m sorry the fan has been frustrating. We recently added the fan to boost wireless-charging speed and reliability; it only spins if the charging pad gets too warm and should power down within ~15–30 minutes after charging, so it shouldn’t be constant. While we don’t consider it very loud, we understand noise is subjective and we apologise for the disturbance. We’re actively working on a quieter design for the next generation, targeted for later in 2025. If your unit’s fan runs longer than 30 minutes or seems unusually loud, please reach out and we’ll take care of you. Thanks again for the feedback - it helps us improve.

Great Product. Well made and sturdy.
Delivery a bit slow from date of order, but no problem as the hole cutter for the bench top supplied from a different supplier did not arrive until a few days after the power socket.
