I bought two of these as replacements for a broken unit in my kitchen island - so was constrained by the size of the existing hole. They were easy to install, operate smoothly, are stable when fully extended, and have a relatively low profile on the benchtop. I really love that the USB ports are at the top so I don’t have to pull the unit all the way up. And even if I am only using the power points the small amount of space they take up means I don’t have to pull up the unit too far if I don’t need to. The only reason I have not given it four stars is that I would have loved for the part of the unit that sits above the benchtop to be offered in polished or brushed stainless steel i.e. not plastic.

4 stars, has good clamps so I can use this on my breakfast bar extension, but for the price it could have had individual switches, also the fuse unit feels a bit loose in the housing. Maybe 1 or 2 usb outlets would have got it 5 stars, but not available in this model. Still glad I bought this compared to what's available in hardware stores.

I have done a lot of research on pop out outlets for my new home. I love this variation of a pop up outlet and the fact that we can put a piece of our quartz countertop on top to help conceal it a bit. I haven’t tried it out yet as our house is still being constructed. I love the modern look as well. We’re putting them in an area of the kitchen where there is no backsplash. I think it will blend nicely.
